How to Cancel a Weight Watchers Membership

Often, people sign up for programs or memberships and then no longer use the services as they once did. Most organizations provide a way to cancel a membership if you are not getting the most of it. Weight Watchers offers several ways to cancel your membership.

Cancel on the Website

Log into your Weight Watchers account with your user name and password.

Scroll to the top of the page and click "My Profile."

Click "Cancel My Account" in the box on the upper-right side of the page.

Follow the cancellation prompts. An email confirming the cancellation will be sent to the email address that Weight Watchers has on file for you.

Cancel by Email

Log in and direct your browser to the cancellation page from the "My Profile" link.

Navigate to the center of the page and click "Email Cancel Request." This will bring up the cancellation form.

Complete any required fields -- those not marked "Optional" -- on the form. In many cases, some of the fields will already be filled in. Check those fields for accuracy and make any necessary corrections.

Click "Submit" to finalize and cancel your complete Weight Watchers membership. You will receive a confirmation email once your Weight Watchers has processed your cancellation.

Cancel by Postal Mail or Fax

Navigate your browser to the cancellation page.

Fill in any blank required fields and click on ''Confirm."

Review the information on the next page and click "Printable Page."

Print the form and mail it to the address listed, or fax it to the number provided.

By Phone

Call customer service at 800-651-6000. If you have an online account, give the representative any identifying information she requests, such as your name, ZIP code, address and date of birth.

If you have a monthly meeting pass instead of an online membership, call the same number, but have your pass ready so you can give the representative your member ID number when she requests it.

Write down the confirmation number the representative gives you once she tells you your account has been successful canceled. That will be the only proof you have of canceling your Weight Watchers membership over the phone.
