How Often Should You Take CLA?

CLA (Conjugated Linoleic Acid) is an essential fatty acid commonly found in cow's milk, beef, and other types of meat. CLA is a naturally occurring anti-carcinogen that may have anti- cancer properties. Biomedical research performed by the national academy of science showed that CLA inhibited carcinogens in animals.

Dosage

Taking 3 grams (one capsule) daily of CLA may be instrumental invsupporting heart health. If taking the supplement to promote weight loss, dosage can be increased to four soft gels taken daily. Some users experienced the inability to fall asleep after consuming CLA in the evening. Also, take CLA about two hours after consuming a high-fiber meal. Fiber can absorb some of the CLA once it enters the digestive tract.

Considerations

    People have reported experiencing symptoms of fatigue after taking CLA. Taking CLA may cause mild side effects like heartburn, diarrhea, nausea and indigestion.
